Delhi Public School, Nagbani is a unit of Maharaja Hari Singh Social & Education Foundation Trust (J&K) and functions under the aegis of The Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi. The school commenced operations in the academic session 2016–17 with a mission to impart quality education for the welfare of society. It is one among more than 230 Delhi Public Schools across India and abroad.
The school is located on a sprawling 4-acre campus in Jammu West, set amidst an orchard spread over nearly 100 acres. It is strategically positioned approximately 13 km from the railway station, 10 km from the general bus stand, and 17 km from Jammu Airport, offering both accessibility and a serene learning environment.
DPS Nagbani is founded on the concept of a “Green School”, strictly adhering to IGBC Green School guidelines. The campus promotes a pollution-free environment through extensive greenery, rainwater harvesting, energy conservation, a polythene-free campus, and the use of eco-friendly materials. In recognition of these efforts, the school has been awarded the Gold Rated Green School status by the World Green Council.
